The corona-virus has affected the lives of millions of people across the globe. As the virus trails its way through the Unites States, Americans are being forced to put their daily tasks to a halt. To do lists, family outings, work routine, and all the other essentials are put on pause. Many people are feeling lost or displaced, or even relieved to have the time off. Whatever the case may be, we at Green Valley want to take the time to make sure you don't forget to keep these healthy tips in mind: Keep 'em hand clean! : Don't let yourself fall victim to uncleanliness. When washing hands, do so under warm water with antibacterial soap for at least 20 seconds. When utilizing hand sanitizer, make sure to disinfect not just your palms, but also in between your fingers, and wrists. These processes should be performed before and after opening doors, switching lights on, utilizing work computers, etc (essentially, anywhere with heavy hand traffic). Avoid close contact : pretty self explanatory. There are many players to the game: symptomatic carriers, asymptomatic carriers, healthy spreaders, healthy getters, etc. You never know who is what player. Look out for the health of your friends and family. Minimize your contribution to the spread by minimizing contact with others. Stay home if your sick : If your home, you're not contributing to the spread nearly as much as you would shopping at the mall. With no vaccine or medication to stop the virus, the priority is to remain preventative. If you're sick, limit your exposure to people as much as possible. Cover those coughs and sneezes : the average fluid from a sneeze can travel 8 meters, staying suspended in the air for up to 10 minutes. Shortstop any method of transferring pathogens by decreasing the distance; cough or sneeze in your mask or shirt or elbow. Wear a Face mash at all times when in public. Now that you've got these safety tips in mind, here's a little food for thought. My question to you is, how will you use this time to reflect upon areas for improvement? Perhaps that treadmill in the basement can finally get a run for its money. Or maybe it's time to call us about that tulip bed you've always wanted to install. Whatever your missed passions may be, take this time to self-reflect with them. At a time like this, let Green Valley accomplish the landscaping of your dreams. We'll handle your miscellaneous yard troubles so you don't have to. When we can finally get the world running again, let it (and your yard) be better than ever before!
